BlackRock and Charles Schwab Yet to Move on XRP as Institutions Expand Crypto Offerings

Developing1 srcSingle-source report based on one YouTube researcher; treat as developing and speculative until confirmed by official filings or announcements.

Despite holding Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs and integrating trading for several altcoins, major financial institutions including BlackRock and Charles Schwab have not announced XRP ETF filings or XRP trading access. The absence is notable given the scale of assets these firms manage and the regulatory clarity that has been developing around XRP.

BlackRock, which already operates Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, has not filed for or publicly announced an XRP ETF product. This stands out as other spot crypto ETF products have been launched or are in development across the industry, and XRP's regulatory situation has materially evolved following its legal battle with the SEC.

Charles Schwab, managing an estimated 11 to 13 trillion dollars in assets under management, recently added trading support for several digital assets including Solana, Chainlink, and Avalanche. XRP was not included in that rollout, leaving XRP holders without direct access through one of the largest retail brokerage platforms in the United States.

The gap between XRP and other assets at these institutions raises questions about internal product prioritization, custodial infrastructure readiness, or remaining regulatory caution at the institutional level. No official statement from either firm has explained the omission.

Both developments are being watched closely by the XRP community as indicators of when institutional distribution channels for XRP may open. Until formal filings or announcements are made, the situation remains speculative.
